Well Being and mental health are really important during times like this. Here are some Well Being activities to try out below
Activities for Week beginning 11th May
Connect: write a letter to a friend you have not seen since school closed. Ask how they are doing and what sort of things they have been up to. Tell them what you have been doing and share some of your experiences. Ask them to write back! It is an exciting feeling to receive a personal letter in the post!
Be active: Do a 10 minute Disney “shake up!” https://www.nhs.uk/10-minute-shake-up/shake-ups
Keep learning: Are you learning an instrument at school? Have you played it since school closed? Play your instrument or if you don’t play an instrument could you see if you can learn some body percussion? Can you click your fingers? Is that a skill you can learn or develop?
Take notice: Go for a walk and collect as many natural objects as you can (you might need to take a bag!) Why did you choose them? Was it the colour? The texture? The smell? The size? The pattern? (Remember to wash your hands properly when you get home!)
Be creative: Use what you found on your walk to create an Andy Goldsworthy inspired creation! Take a photo and share it with your teacher on Dojo! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bkQEw11jC_I
