Monday 30th March
Your parents should have received an email inviting them to join ClassDojo.
Could you get them to join as this means we can still be in contact with everyone in the class - there are five of us already communicating.
Take care and looking forward to talking to you
Mrs H :-)
Friday 27th March
Thank CRUNCHIE it’s Friday! I can not believe it has been a week since the school shut. I hope you have been looking after your parents and keeping your rooms tidy – pencils away in the correct drawers and books turned around the right way!
It really is not the same – I expect you are missing each other too.
How many of the film titles did you get?
Did you realise the car was parked over 87?
Today – make sure you’ve written in your diary.
I have been busy today with school work (updating the morning maths starter, creating a class dojo and some other maths stuff) but also feeding the lambs – I am now bottle feeding 6!
Barry and Sausage are so pleased to see me when I go in the field with the bottle! I have almost fallen over Sausage on a number of occasions – I think I may train him to dance!
Right, I best get on with some more school stuff – I’m going to sing Spring Chicken with KS1 next week so I need to prepare!
Take care of yourselves and stay safe
Thursday 26th March
Hi all, I hope you are well. I am well- I have been in school today and the tree outside our classroom is stunning - the blossom is well and truly out!
Whilst in school I did some reading comprehension... look at this on youtube -
(You may need to skip the ads!)
Can you answer these questions
- How tall are the trees in Happyland?
- What could Mr Miserable now be called – explain why.
- What is inside the small, narrow yellow door?
- How is Mr Happy described?
A fun quiz for you - what are the film titles?

Ok – a challenge for you – what number is under the parked car in the picture below? How long did it take you to work it out – can you get your parents to have a go? What is your reasoning behind your answer?
Right – I have to dash – keep studying hard – you are all amazing 😊
Wednesday 25th March
I hope you are all ok and staying safe. It is very strange in school not seeing or hearing you.
I have been in school today sorting your reports and also helping some children draw shadow pictures on the playground ... it is just not the same without you all though - your smiles, your humour and your NOISE!
I hope home schooling is going well and that you are listening to your parents. Have you remembered traffic lights and sentence stems?! :-) I wonder what you have been writing in your diary - let's see who is reading this - on today's page please draw 'Mr Potato head.' Also, write the answer to these questions...
1) 24 - 3 x 6
2) List all the co-ordinating conjunctions ( clue... there are 7!)
3) 234 x 35
Please take care of yourselves and stay at home.
Mrs H :-)
P.S. I'll try and write every day so check back each day (Monday - Friday :-) )
