Sports Week 23rd May - 27th May

Dance
We kick started our Sports Week with an amazing dance workshop provided by Dannii Middle from Inspire Dance. She taught each class a completely new dance routine. They later performed it to the other class in their year group before playing a dance game to end the workshop. See the photos and videos below.
Sports Day
We had an action-packed Sports Day where each class competed in 7 different events; hurdles, relay, egg and spoon race, beanbag toss, water relay, javelin and football dribbling race. All the children showed brilliant sportsmanship as they cheered on their team mates and took part in every race. See some photos below.
Multi-skills Festival
Through the North Somerset Schools PE Association, all of Key Stage 1 and Foundation Stage were able to take part in six competitive team games as part of a multi-skills festival. They competed in; keep it moving, target throw, giant speed stacking, agility relay, hoop challenge and net gain. The teams were supported to do their own scoring and record it on their team score sheets. It was a brilliant day for sportsmanship and team building.
