World Bee Day

In Science we have been learning about plants and other living fauna, as part of this topic; on May 20th we celebrated World Bee Day. We learnt about the busy life of a bee and how they collect pollen and nectar, and how they use this back at the hive. In Art and DT we made our own floating bees and used these, along with paint, to create a visual representation of how bees pollinate flowers. We even tasted some honey too! Yummy!
