Maths

Have a look at some of our practical maths activities where we use concrete objects to explore mathematical concepts. We have used Numicon to find all the number bonds to 10. When learning about 3D shapes we really thought about the question around what makes a shape 3D. Can a picture on paper really be 3D? We explored nets of 3D shapes and used these to make our own boxes to create a group skyline. We followed a line of interest around measurement and carefully ordered our book collection by height.
