At the Whiteoak Academies, School Sport and PE is something we are very proud of. Our children receive excellent PE teaching from both class teachers and Sport & PE specialists to help make sure every child meets their full physical and sporting potential.

Our PE curriculum is designed to ensure that all children in our family of schools receive the very best physical education, with every child receiving a minimum of two hours per week. The school also currently holds the School Games Gold Award which reflects our commitment to sport and PE.

Furthermore, we are currently looking at ways to develop our Forest School provision and outdoor play space so that all of our children can benefit from a varied range of physical activity and outdoor experiences and excellent facilities both at playtimes and during their PE lessons. 

As part of our statutory duty, we have completed the Department for Education’s (DfE) digital PE and Sport Premium reporting tool for the 2024–25 academic year. This tool enables schools to demonstrate how the funding has been used to improve physical education, school sport, and physical activity (PESSPA).
