Term 3 week 4
Week four and today is the day that Year 1 chicks are due to hatch - let us hope it's good news - I might try to get a picture - I love new life - a real sign that spring could be on the way - especially when my lambs are due.
This week we are looking at finding a percentage of a number using the traditional method but also trying our hand at the 'bubble method'. We are also upping our time trying to solve reasoning problems in order to develop our confidence in that area.
In English we are writing a discussion linked to our story Floodland by Marcus Sedgewick. We have to convince the reader that it is best for the character Zoe to get in the boat rather than her Dad - come and see them next week at Open morning.
In Science we are developing fact sheets about 'The Circulatory system'. Do you know why it is called that name?
