Term 2 week 6
We are on the countdown to Christmas - we have a busy few weeks ahead.
This week we are fortunate to be watching the year 3 production - we can't wait to see what they have come up with this year.
In Maths we will continue to look at fractions but this time it is including the division of - it's not as scary as it sounds - honestly!
In English we will be taking a look at Reading comprehensions and also thinking about issues in grammar.
We will be rounding up our WW2 project by looking at what people did for entertainment at the time.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday morning for open classes where we can show you all the fabulous work we have been doing over the term.
Maths challenge - can you solve these pyramids by adding and subtracting the fractions.
What is a number pyramid in maths?
In a Number Pyramid, the numbers on the lower levels determine the numbers above them. So to determine the numbers simply add to find the number above or use subtraction to find the number below.
With this fraction number pyramid, you need to make sure you change the fractions so they have a common denominator - GOOD LUCK :-)
