Have a look at the shapes on the word mat and say their names.  Do you have any objects at home that are these shapes?  Make a collection and draw them if you can!  This week in school we are talking about cubes and cuboids.

This week we are starting our new topic, The Great Fire of London.  Have a look at the Knowledge Organiser, also on the year 1 page, and talk about it together.  Can you find out anything about how London looked 350 years ago, using the internet or books?  How was it different from the London we know now?
